everyday mystery

March 19, 2011

The word was we should all go look at the moon tonight.

Apparently it’s bigger.

So I walked in search of the familiar

lunar face – closer and somehow, yes, the mouth is 14% more joyous

palest of orange, in

bluegrey cloak, then

Perfect cinematic clouds

drift gauze-like

so as not to disrupt, too much,

her mystery.

Boats pass, crossing the golden path that always (always) plays on the water

and to think: this wonder happens every day.
