afterwards

where time was made
there was space,
but now that this made-time
and made-space
are empty,
tiny pockets of space and time
are collecting like dust
on the floor
in a darkened room.

while the light stays off,
the dust is only there
because bare feet,
walking soft and slow,
can feel each grain
